Retired and current players. Retired players go back to their playing ages. Who do you pick first. Me...Larry Bird. Jordan second. Magic Third. I mean look at Larry's stats and awards... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larry_Bird
I would not take put Lebron in the top 10. He plays in a SOFT league, gets away with travelling on most of his drives and has never had Bill Lamebeer or Rodman smack him around. Give me Bird, Malone, Bill Russell, Jordan and Magic.
You have a point Bane, and don't forget players like Charles Oakley, Anthony Mason, and Rick Mahorn.
We're also playing in a league without dominant centers anymore and not long when driving to the lane a player had to deal with the likes of Hakeem Olajuwon, Alonzo Mourning, David Robinson, Shaq, Dikembe Mutombo, Patrick Ewing, and even others such as John Salley, etc...
His point is pretty terrible
How so?
The league was much tougher in years past.
Can you honestly deny that Pats?
Name some 'tough' players these days we could even begin to compare to some names mentioned further above...

Bird would be Mike Miller in his prime in todays NBA.
whites only get a hard on for him cuz they identify with him.
